Film festival "Molodist"
 In the 1961 in the Karpenko-Karyy Kiev state institute of the theatrical art a cinematographic faculty was founded. Nine years ago firstly a festival of the cinema faculty students works was organized. By the press evidences this review has held two days and presented in its program 33 films. Such a Kiev International film festival "Molodist" history became, that in the 2000 celebrated it's the 30th anniversary and now presents about 240 films every year from more than 40 countries of the world.
 In the 1993 International Federation of film producers associations (FIAPF) officially registers "Molodist" as an international festival, which activity completely meets the international standards. From this time "Molodist" quickly gains authority as one of the most important cinema events in the Eastern Europe. The key in the festival fate was a partnership with television channel "1+1", created in the 1995, which helped to solve the most difficult finance and organizational problems of the "Molodist".
 Yearly the contest program of the festival presents in Ukraine works of gifted youth from all the continents, these works were carefully chose from dozens national and international cinema reviews. As the contest is divided into such sections as student films, the first short film (picture, animation and documentary) and the first picture full-length film, this allows in series to trace the development of the creative personalities.
Already four years the "M.S.L." company is the sponsor of the film festival. In the 2001 the national artist of Ukraine Bogdan Stupka became the president of the festival, and in the 2005 the president of Ukraine Viktor Uschenko took his symbolic place.
In the 2004 in the visual production of the Molodist a graphic work of a Ukrainian operator Danylo Demutskyy was used, which wined a Grand Prix on photographic competition in Paris in the 1925.
In the 2005 the symbol of the festival became the photocollage from faces of numerous stars of Ukrainian and world cinematography, who one or another year have visited the festival. A postage stamp became the main graphic symbol that symbolizes an intense communication, creative relations, boundaries absence and conditional character of those distances, which divide countries and moviemakers. Crossed the symbolical limit of 35 years, the festival is invariably concentrated on the research of the most important development tendencies of the young cinema and it is consistent in its wishes to help young talents to take up that place, of which they are worthy in the contemporary cine process.
